08/15: We have just completed a project for 10 year old Jordan. Jordan is confined to a wheelchair and has been unable to enter and exit his home without assistance. As a joint project, Higher Calling Ministry and Gods Ministry provided home modifications including enlarging the entrance, redoing some of the flooring and the construction of the wheelchair ramp. With these modifications Jordan has now been able to go out of the house on his own for the first time. Unfortunately Jordan is currently under the weather and is presently hospitalized. We ask for prayers for his quick recovery and thank you for your continued support and prayers for the works of this ministry. Our last report is that Jordan has recovered and is doing well. Thank you for all your prayers.
12/15 Higher Calling Ministry has just provided new coats, clothing and toys for a homeless family with 5 children ranging from 6 months old to 13 years.
02/16 Higher Calling Ministry is providing a vehicle for a disabled gentleman diagnosed with heart disease.The family had only one means of transportation which over the past two years has been broken down as much as it had run. Transmission repairs have been running more than what the vehicle is worth.The family survives on a limited income of Social Security Disability and what minor jobs the gentleman is able to perform when his health permits. This gentleman lives in a rural area and is quite distanced from the doctors and medical facilities which he has to go to frequently. Higher Calling, with the assistance of caring individuals has located a 2001 Ford pick up which is being supplied to provide mechanically sound transportation for this family allowing for them to continue medical care for this person and allow them the ability to independently provide for themselves.
06/2017: Outreach Ministry provided financial assistance to a grandmother providing for three grandchildren and a disable daughter . Outreach service payed for utility reconnection for the family.
